Breaking Bad : Bryan Cranston et Aaron Paul nous l’ont bien mise à l’envers

Après trois semaines de teasing, les acteurs de Breaking Bad ont révélé ce qu’ils mijotaient. Malheureusement, il ne s’agit pas d’un film…

Cela fait maintenant trois semaines que tous les mardis, Aaron Paul et Bryan Cranston titillent leur public avec des publications sur les réseaux sociaux. Les héros de Breaking Bad se sont, en effet, amusés à poster les mêmes photos avec les mêmes descriptions. « Soon » puis « Even sooner », pouvait-on lire. Tant de détails qui laissaient présager l’arrivée imminente du film Breaking Bad, très attendue depuis la fin de la série.

À présent, on sait désormais ce que mijotaient les interprètes de Jesse Pinkman et Walter White. Au risque de vous décevoir, il ne s’agit pas du tout de ce fameux film. Ainsi, avec toutes ces publications, Aaron Paul et Bryan Cranston préparaient l’arrivée de… leur marque d’alcool fort. C’est de nouveau avec une publication qu’ils en ont révélé l’existence. Intitulé Dos Hombres, elle est spécialisée dans le Mezcal, une boisson alcoolisée mexicaine. Un projet commun qu’ils mettent en place depuis trois ans maintenant. C’est en sirotant des cocktails à New-York que les deux amis ont eu l’idée de développer leur propre alcool. Ils ont alors entrepris un voyage à Oaxaca au Mexique, là où la marque fabrique leur Mezcal. Et c’est ainsi qu’est née Dos Hombres.

Three years ago we sat in a sushi bar in New York. Talking about life and what we could possibly do down the road together. We had the time of our lives while shooting Breaking Bad and truly built a very special bond. Knowing that we couldn’t share the screen for quite a while – our thoughts turned to a new project. We sipped cocktails and thought about what it should be. The younger one looked at his drink and said, you know what we should do? We should do a really special Mezcal. The older one said, you mean the liquor with a worm at the bottom? Nah, that was just some bullshit gimmick, I mean real, artesanal Mezcal made by hand in Mexico. After that dinner we couldn’t get the idea out of our heads. So, we started traveling to Oaxaca to see if we could find it, and we mean it had to be “it,” something so damn good even people who don’t think they like Mezcal will love it. It had to be perfect or we weren’t going to do it. We searched high and low all over Oaxaca, met incredible people along the way and after a beautiful yet grueling search throughout that majestic landscape we believed we may have found our place. Our Mezcal. It was on a dirt-road, in tiny village, hours away from the center of town, we found it and it was perfect. Holy shit it was perfect. We looked at each other and just simply nodded. This is it. We named it Dos Hombres – two guys on a quest. It’s been a long and crazy journey and we couldn’t be happier to share this with you and the rest of the world. Un film est bel et bien prévu

Évidemment, si ce Mezcal fera certainement des heureux, les fans de Breaking Bad ne peuvent qu’être déçus. Cela faisait tout de même trois semaines que tout le monde ne pensait qu’au retour du duo sur le petit écran.

Pour autant, même si ce n’est pas pour maintenant, un film Breaking Bad verra bien le jour. Ce dernier sera une suite directe à la série. Ainsi, on reprendra les choses telles qu’on les a laissées en 2013, date du dernier épisode de la saison 5. Probablement intitulé « Greenbrier », il se concentrera sur le destin du personnage de Aaron Paul, Jesse Pinkman. De nombreux acteurs issus de la série et également du spin-off Better Call Saul seront de la partie, tout comme Bryan Cranston et son personnage, Walter White.

Si le tournage aurait apriori déjà commencé, aucune date de sortie n’a été annoncée. On sait seulement que le film ne sortira pas au cinéma, mais sur la plateforme de streaming, Netflix.
